The Mapleist™ wasn’t built overnight. It took over two and a half years of research, unexpected setbacks, lab trials, and a shared refusal to settle—for shortcuts, for generic formulas, or for skincare that relies more on marketing than efficacy.
Co-founders Simrina Genevicius and Rawan Al-Shboul walked every step of the journey together—from early ingredient sourcing to late-stage formulation—driven by a single belief: that skincare should be both high-performance and deeply intentional.

During their research journey, the founders connected with the world’s leading scientist in maple research. Over the next two and a half years, that collaboration evolved into a trusted friendship—one that helped unlock a groundbreaking red maple leaf extract at the heart of their formulations.

Rawan, a biomedical engineer with a passion for storytelling, leads the brand’s marketing and creative direction—shaping how The Mapleist™ shows up in the world with integrity and care.
Together, they built more than a skincare line—they created a philosophy: skincare grounded in nature, refined by science, and obsessively crafted to perform.
